I have been searching for some type of high protein vegan ready to eat snacks (I'm thinking like crisps, or maybe just flavoured crispy lentils or something) which can be purchased in bulk and have a reasonable expiration date (i.e. at least over a week).

I really want to maximise price/protein ratio (hence why I'm willing to buy in bulk).

Any of you guys know some foods which would fit these criteria?

Beanitos, Beanfields, and Boulder Canyon make relatively high protein bean chips that I buy in regular supermarkets and places like Target and Walmart.

The good old, shelled or unshelled, salted or spiced peanut is hard to beat for price to protein ratio and wide availability. Of course, it is high in fat and sodium too. Watch out for (nowadays rare) brands using gelatin as a coating aid...

Dry roasted soybeans would be a possibility. When dividing proteins by total calories (see for instance USDA nutrient database, or here) soybeans are among the most protein-dense foods, and they are also relatively inexpensive, after all they feed much of the world's cattle.

Protein/Energy balls are usually an easy choice as all you need is a blender. No cooking, no baking, no freezing. Just blending all the ingredients and making balls out of the stuff.

Here are some high-protein vegan snacks:

  1. Roasted chickpeas – Available in bulk with various flavors, high in protein, and long shelf life.
  2. Lentil chips – Brands like Eat Real offer high-protein options.
  3. Soy crisps – Light, crunchy, and protein-rich.
  4. Edamame snacks – Dry-roasted edamame is high in protein and lasts long.
  5. Seitan jerky – Great shelf life and protein content.
  6. Pea protein chips – Check brands like Protes for bulk options.
  7. Trail mix – Make or buy with roasted soybeans, nuts, and seeds for added protein.

These are widely available online or in health food stores for bulk purchasing.
