I tend to trust the ingredients if it's simple and generic, if it says explicitly it's vegan, or if it says explicitly it might have some contamination. Note that I'm in the US so my comment is not intended to be specific to Tesco - just a general observation. | |

Jan 8, 2019 at 9:30 | comment | added | badjohn | Thanks. I had not seen that book. I'll try to make a visit in less of a rush and check. I am not aware of any allergies to food stuffs. Also, I can accept the possibility of minor cross-contamination just as long as no animal products were deliberately added. I don't like brioche but giving up croissants is a little tougher. Packaged bread is easier to check but I would prefer to use the fresh if possible. | |
